Prior to working in real estate, Maria started her career in recruiting physicians internationally to remote areas in Australia, New Zealand, and the Caribbean for temporary locum tenens assignments. Later, she shifted her career to work as an Executive Recruiter supporting private equity and venture capital-backed startup companies.
Maria graduated from the University of Utah with a BA in Mass Communication and broadcast Journalism. She completed 2 internships during that time; one for FOX 13 News, Salt Lake City, and KGW, an NBC affiliate in Portland, Oregon. Following graduation, she bought a one-way ticket to Santiago, Chile, and lived and worked abroad for 2 years teaching English to Chilean businessmen and women.

Today she lives in Salt Lake City, Liberty Wells area, and stays busy with her husband, their two children, 2 dogs, and 1 cat. She is committed to supporting her kid’s sports and loves to entertain friends and family, golf, and catch any live music she can. Her biggest passion these days is to renovate her old Victorian home and any project around interior design. She loves the Sugarhouse community, access to great restaurants within walking distance, and the charming small businesses this area brings.
